Blog Post 1 - A Walk in the Neighborhood

     On Tuesday, August 25th I took a short, thirty minute walk around my neighborhood to see if I could find a topic for my weekly blog post. While many of the prompts online involve animals, plants or other forms of nature, I wouldn't necessarily say these things were abundant on my walk. There were trees, grass, and small forms of shrubbery but no exciting plants or animals from what I could tell. What I did notice, however, was the amount of trash, cups and cans that were sprinkled throughout my neighborhood.      What is interesting about this is that if I wasn't intentionally looking for trash I most likely wouldn't have noticed just how much there actually was. While I was on my walk, I stepped on a broken glass bottle on the sidewalk and that was what initially caught my eye.
